Enid E. Curtis, 85, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Royal Plaza in Lewiston.
Enid was born in Deary Nov. 8, 1933, to Axel and Marvel Granlund.
She graduated from Deary High in 1951. On June 29, 1952, she married the love of her life, Alvin Curtis.
Sadly, Alvin passed away Dec. 5, 1961. She never remarried.
She worked for Omark industries, now Vista Outdoors, for more than 30 years. She loved the Oregon Coast and spent many summers watching the waves and deep-sea fishing.
She is survived by her son Rick (Chris) Curtis of North Bend, Wash.; daughter Frances (Dave) Imthurn; grandsons Tony (Marika) Imthurn, Kyle (Rachel) Imthurn; and great-grandsons Cruz and Knox Imthurn; brother Robert (Sally) Granlund; and many nieces and nephews.
Enid was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; her parents; and brother Wilburn â€śBillâ€ť Granlund.
A special thank you to the Moore family who lived across from us for always being there for Mom and us. We are forever grateful.
No service is planned at her request, but she will be laid to rest with Dad at a private graveside at 1 p.m. Friday at Mountain View Cemetery.
